A History of Excellence

When a jewellery icon like Chow Tai Fook celebrates 95 years, it's a testament to enduring excellence. Tasked with supporting a complete brand revamp, Byron McKenzie was brought on to develop an internal communications strategy that would educate, inspire, and etch their legacy deeper into the brand's DNA for the next generation of staff.

The Challenge

As part of their brand relaunch, Chow Tai Fook needed our help to create an internal communications plan that would simultaneously educate and inspire their staff about the brand's rich history, values, and mission. Internal comms are notoriously dull and uninspiring, so our challenge was to find a unique way to connect with employees and convey the excitement and energy of the new brand.

The Creative Strategy

Our solution was to create a series of inspiring internal brand assets designed to communicate the significance of Chow Tai Fook's brand heritage. The strategy was to use tangible, beautifully designed materials to make the brand's history and new values feel immediate and significant to every employee, turning them into proud brand ambassadors.

The Execution

Over the course of a year, we worked closely with the Chow Tai Fook management team to execute the internal communications plan. Our work included a wide range of creative production services:

  • A captivating brand animation that brought their rich history to life.

  • An inclusive OOH (Out-of-Home) installation for their headquarters.

  • A series of promotional posters that echoed the new brand values.

  • Custom-designed notebooks and a comprehensive employee handbook design that captured the essence of their new brand.
